Within the capitalist ethics of survival of the fittest, classical and neo-classical explanations have placed emphasis on rent. It is argued that persons who could not afford the rent of a given area are compelled to move to such areas, wherein the rental values fall within their financial capabilities. With time, this crystallizes into a system in which different residential areas emerge consisting of persons who can afford a given rent. The socio-economic status factor sometimes has two dimensions – an income dominated pattern, and the other one based on education or occupation.
Consider the real estate scenario in India. Without a real estate agent, a customer will not be able to identify quality living spaces in most cities. Real estate agents have the right expertise and offer solutions according to the particular specific budget constraints of the customer. When the price of real estate has been going over the roof in many urban areas, many people with dreams of owning a house in the cities had to shelve their plans mainly due non-availability of proper information regarding the real estate trends in particular localities.
When analyzing the numerous Real Estate Agents India , big agents with interstate operations dominate the national scene. But small players who operate within a particular city or locality also deal with a vast majority of real estate transactions. In a majority of the cities in India, real estate agents charge nearly 3 percent of the transaction amount as commission for the services rendered by them. Some agents accept commission from their own customers, but in certain cities real estate agents charge commission from both the buyer and the seller. |
