[ I am writing from the Philippines, Marikina City, Metro Manila. ]
I already have a house where I and my wife and children are living in.
I also have another one, an older one which I am trying to find out the what and how in regard to renting it, or converting it into some kind of apartment or call it townhouse units, to earn income from it.
So far and it's been six years or seven now, no one is renting it, and I can't seem to get started in converting it into townhouse units or some kind of boarding quarters for students, etc.
Now I am contemplating on buying another house and lot which seems to be a bargain, and repair it and improve it so as to rent it or sell it to earn income.
I have some savings for this objective.
Are there any people at all: architects, engineers, other talents who can be partners with me in my idea to earn income from my one (and possibly or probably another one) idle house and lot?
What I have in mind are people who will be partners with me, they will earn from any profit we make from this project, meaning they put in their contribution in terms of architectural plans or engineering tasks, etc., and I the funds for materials, and also the present house and lot (and possibly another one).
No one makes any money unless and until any profit is finally realized from the project.
In the meantime I am disposed to be the financial partner and the owner of the project.
But we can discuss the details of this project.
Too bad, not more people are in this forum, which is very useful for all kinds of people interested in owning their own homes, and also people thinking of going to such an activity for a business project.
Thanks, Lloyd, for this forum. It is so user-friendly unlike some other forums which are a pain in the as** to register, and then you never get any confirmation email or the registration process keeps repeating iself, after you have put in time and labor and trouble to go through the registration process.
